Grace Episcopal Church, Hastings on Hudson, NY

Sunday School is offered for children from age four through sixth grade. On the first Sunday of each month, there is no Sunday School so families can worship together.

Confirmation instruction for youths in grades seven and up and for adults prepares those wishing to make a mature profession of faith or to be received into the Episcopal Church from another tradition.

Other adult education classes are offered seasonally.

Sunday School Teachers

Sunday School starts at 9:45 am and lasts for the first half of the 10:00 service from mid-September through mid-June. Members of our Sunday School also participate in special liturgies, undertake a mission project during Lent and put on a Christmas pageant every 2 years.

Teachers work with Christian Ed Director Marlene Linz, who provides a detailed and pre-planned curriculum along with appropriate materials. Each teacher serves a 6-8 week rotation, working with one of our four Sunday school groups: PreK and K, 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th grades.
